I was definitely excited for Jamie and Will’s Skylight Wedding. Jamie and I grew up in the same small town. I was a few years older than her, but we were both always in the music program and both always involved in the theatre in the town. Some of my best memories are behind the scenes of The Secret Garden and Beauty and the Beast where Jamie killed it as a lead and I swayed in the back in the chorus! LOL! It really was a great time!
I knew after photographing Jamie and Will’s engagement photos, their wedding day was going to be fun. Will is constantly being goofy and always trying to make everyone laugh. The Grooms photos are some of my favorite because, well, they just aren’t traditional.
We stayed around the square in Newark, getting ready at the hotel and doing portraits around town. The Courthouse made for a perfect backdrop! After photos they ended at The Skylight where they had music and danced the rest of the evening.
