I have been SO excited to blog this wedding! It has to be one of my top 5 weddings I have shot! Mountains, Ski lifts, furry flower girl and ring bearer, DIY reception, Whats not to love?
Nancy is one of my oldest friends. ( Not age, length in friendship) When she asked me to shoot her wedding in Pennsylvania I knew without a doubt it was going to amazing. Since I got married 2 months prior to Nancy we had a lot of “wedding planning” conversations leading up to the actual days. Every detail Nancy shared with me made me more and more excited to shoot her and Matts wedding.
The day of the wedding came and it was just beautiful! The weather was just right for an outdoor ceremony. Matt and Nancy’s friend let them borrow a Ski Lodge for the whole weekend. That is where the wedding and reception took place. The lodge was gorgeous and the mountains even more so. Nancy mother spent months making all the AMAZING details on the wedding. There were so many personalized details I am afraid my photos do not even do it justice!
Matt and Nancy were so relaxed and easy going. The day of the wedding went so smoothly and happy. Everyone hung out in the cabins and was just surrounded with love by all their family and friends. They had asked Nancy’s father to marry them and it was the sweetest thing watching a father marry his daughter over.
Needless to say the wedding was gorgeous. It was amazing to watch my friend marry the man she loves. I am so happy these two are my friends and let me share their day with them. Now, on to the photos!!!
