A Fall Field Inspiration
So October is usually a pretty crazy month for photographers. Last year I was feeling a bit burnt out come November. I needed something to spark my love for photography and to get my creative thoughts a-flowin. A past bride, and good friend and I started chatting and we decided to meet up and take some pretty photos. Just for us. She had been in school and nanny-ing for so long and just wanted a moment to feel like a girl again. I think that is amazing!
I live across the street from a huge Metro Park called Highbanks. I can see the beautiful fields from my front window. I love it! Right now ( October) it is filled with so many colors and it makes this soul happy. I can also watch when the fields change colors and when it looks the prettiest. Last year, fall was leaving and winter was setting in and I would watch the sun come up and make this field look golden and I knew I wanted to shoot a morning session there!
BreAyne and I chatted and we came up with a few small and simple ideas. I had recently inherited a beautiful old ladder and I knew I wanted to incorporate that. I laced it with silk flowers and I made BreAyne’s flower crown.
I love how it turned out.
BreAyne is such a natural beauty. It was easy and effortless to get some stunning photos.
Thank you BreAyne for letting me do this!
