When Katie first reached out to me she let me know that she was planning her Ohio wedding from North Carolina. Gage and Katie are originally from Ohio but had moved down to North Carolina. At our first consult we had chatted about engagement photos and with living states away they didn’t think those would be possible. That’s when I realized my annual family vacation would be in North Carolina as well. Only a couple hours away from Katie and Gage! We checked our schedules and it worked out that we could meet! I was beyond excited, not only because I have always wanted to do a beach engagement, but because I was so happy to photograph and get to know Katie and Gage.
We met at a pier right before sunset. It was windy and humid, and we were fighting hair and a foggy camera, but they totally rocked it! These two are adorable and so much fun. I love their laid back and happy personalities. I also love couples with a sense of humor and these two definitely do! We were laughing the whole time.
I am basically obsessed with these photos. Despite everything that was against us ( location, schedules, weather) these photos really show how happy these two are. I can not WAIT for their wedding this summer!
