You guys!! I am so so excited about this! You see, I love photographing families, but I wanted to change it up a bit. Make them different. Interesting. I really wanted to make them more specific I guess. Styled. Almost themed. Let me tell you, they are SO much fun and I am LOVING the photos we are getting back from them. I am becoming more involved in the planning process. The where, when, hows of it. Helping with ideas, locations and definitely outfits. Some clients have an AMAZING eye for this, others really want the help. I am super glad to offer it!
I had been chatting with Ashley about wanting to photograph her family and the whole time I am thinking in my head “old english country”. ( I mean hello! Red heads?!) Her family is SO adorable and I know they love to go on hikes and adventures outside so that is exactly what I saw in my head. We spent a little time chatting back and forth about outfits and I even had a dress and skirt tailor made for the girls. ( Thank you Tasia. Look at her stuff here) Ashley and Jeremy love to thrift shop and even have an instagram for all their awesome finds. Ashley wore an amazing vintage plaid dress that she had and the sweater the little guy is wearing was actually his DADS from when his dad was his age. I just love it!!
We headed off to a park where the family showed me a few fun places and we just had so much fun. These kids are so adorable! I loved that overtime their dad made a joke all the kids would break out into a giggle. It’s like their own personal audience. It was so sweet.
